My name is Kelly Porch and I am a qualified Counsellor and soon to be qualified Counselling Supervisor (September 2017) practicing in Kettering, Northamptonshire .
I am registered member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). The BACP Register is recognised by the UK Government and consists of counsellors who have met specified standards for registration. Membership of this register means that I am bound by the Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. A copy of my counselling diploma certificate is available upon request and proof of registration can be
viewed here, using the registration number 088899.
My counselling approach is person-centered but I may use other counselling methods where appropriate. A description of person-centered counselling can be found here.
Until recently, I have run the counselling service for the students at Moulton College and in the past I have worked for the Kettering charity, Teamwork.
Furthermore, I also run the Northamptonshire Centre for Counselling Studies where I teach counselling to students who wish to become counsellors themselves. I have previously taught at Bedford College.
